CCGA will be hosting a Youth Showmanship on Friday, June 28 after the ADGA Youth Junior Doe show, but no earlier than 4pm.

There is no charge for youth showmanship, but please pre-enter so we know how many are showing.

YOUTH SHOWMANSHIP CLASSES

• Parents & Pee-Wees: 5 & Under

• Cloverbuds: 8 & under

• Juniors: ages 9 - 10

• Intermediate 1: ages 11 - 13 

• Intermediate 2: ages 14 - 16

• Seniors: ages 17 - 20 

• Novice ( first year of showmanship )

YOUTH SHOWMANSHIP RULES

1. Participant must be under 21 years of age on June 28, 2024.

2. All ages for classes will be determined by the youth’s age on June 28, 2024.

3. Youth should register for one showmanship class only.

4. Novice class is open to anyone who is in their first year of showmanship. 

5. There are no entry fees for youth showmanship. Please pre-register so we know how many youth are showing. 

6. You do not have to show an animal that you own.

7. Judging criteria are as per the ADGA Guidebook (see ADGA Showmanship Scorecard).

8. Youth are encouraged to wear show whites.

9. All entrants will receive a participation award.
